Bio
Vicky J. Rose has been an author, successful business owner, and entrepreneur. She grew up in a small town full of stories about early-day outlaw gangs, lynchings, retaliations, and vigilantism, nurturing her love for the western genre. For many years she owned and operated the Lone Star Barbershop in downtown Elgin, twenty-five miles east of Austin. After leaving that profession, she earned a degree in journalism from Angelo State University in West Texas. Her award-winning novels have since been published by major publishing houses and are for sale in fine bookstores everywhere. Intrigued by scriptwriting, she plans to branch out into production.
